Now illegal to import 15/18/R18 films

I have just heard about a case won by customs in a Maidstone Court. It is now illegal to import any film that customs consider 'indecent' (a lesser legal adjective than obscene). This includes BBFC approved films rated at 15/18/R18.

The problem is that HM Customs & Exise are almost above the law, if they fancy doing a search or your house the dont have to apply for a search warrant.

A couple of months ago I got turned over by customs at Southampton Airport LEAVING the country.

Went on a ferry the other day from Holland and they were selling Private DVDs and mags. If (ahem) I had bought them I could have had them conficated!! So where do the ferry companies stand? Are they breaking the law or just encouraging the breaking of the law?

I find it hard to believe that standard porn is worth bothering about - what the fuck are customs doing seizing smut when there are guns, drugs, people and all sorts being brought into the country. They should be outed in tyhe popular press and made to hang their heads in shame.

A while back i was on a coach travelling from the continent one of the passengers had about 30 dvd R18s in a bag , we were travelling via the tunnel and British customs who as most of you know are based on the French side searched the coach and found them, he admitted they were his and they confiscated them and let him and the rest of us continue, whilst we were waiting to board the train security came up to us and said they were going to escort us back to British customs which they did, so the coach had to go back where a customs officer was waiting and handed this bag of porn to the driver saying these belong to one of your passengers we have checked them and they are all ok, seems they dont like anything Fetish ,C.P., Animals, or Shiteing, Pissing and Fucking is ok apperently but i suspect it just depend on the Customs person who stops you.

I get stopped regular PK normally they want to know about money if you have a few grand in the car they go mad, the thought that we are in the EEC is a joke there is no freedom of travel. The last time i told them I was returning from Amsterdam having worked as a rent boy for 3 weeks,,,,,yeh they fucked me off laughing.
