A couple of sentences from the piece which struck me as, shall we say, as not entirely true.

"She is one of the best-known faces in the British porn industry and one of the top actresses. She only performs alone or with other women."

"She has turned down numerous offers to take part in "boy-girl" porn films."

"Miss Thorne lives with her boyfriend Jason and has appeared with him in a couple of magazines but refuses to have sex on camera with male stars."

Where in the article does it say that she only performs alone or with other women?

She may have turned down numerous offers to take part in "boy-girl" porn films. She just doesn't say she's accept others.

Where in the article does it say "but refuses to have sex with him on camera"

As far as I can see it says - Miss Thorne lives with her boyfriend Jason and has appeared with him in a couple of magazines.

and also - She is one of the best-known faces in the British porn industry and one of the top actresses.

Miss Thorne has also taken on a role as a producer, coming up with ideas for shows, developing them, writing the scripts and casting the actors

Please dont get me wrong, in my opinion she is free to say what she wants to say, and do what she chooses to do.

It's just with so many detractors of the industry who will read the same article, it just gives them more ammunition to paint the whole industry as "liars ,cheats, exploiters...etc." as they are prone to do.

She doesn't say half the things you have said she does.

It must have been edited since.

For the sections quoted I used copy & paste rather than memory.

hmmm i wonder if ITV know that besides being a "Harmless" nude model, soft focus girl girl pornstar, she is also featured in vids where another man puts his oversized plonker in the hole usually desinged for expelling waste.

Why the hell would she lie about going b/g? People aren't stupid. Some guy invented a thing called the internet and it allows u to search for stuff. So, u search for michelle thorne and you find some pictures of her mouth around a cock that's not her boyfriends.

Now people who read that article will call her a liar as well as a pornstar. Isn't she diminishing her credibility by lying about some aspects of her job in that interview??

Isn't it like a burglar saying I've never stolen anything!!

Why/who would edit it? Thats a bit worrying. Since when does a news item get edited?

On the BBC web site? Frequently. News items are tweaked across all media from first edition to later editions aren't they? And this was more a feature than a news item.

Of more concern is that the "last edited" time on the page did not reflect the changes that were made during the day yesterday.

Who are these girls aged mid-late 30's that Michelle is so disparaging about?. I can think of a few in that age group who are still stunning & very popular. How to win friends & influence people.

I asked on another thread some time ago if porn stars would tell their offsprings about their jobs or even encourage them to follow in their footsteps (when old enough of course) but no one answered, well it woud appear that Michelle would not be too keen to tell them about her porn career.Any others?
