I guess I was alone in thinking it wouldnt happen. All the channels stopped buying new material expecting it was going to go hard over night.

Sounds like some people are going to be disappointed in cable programming unless someone pulls their proverbial finger out in the next few months.

As for quality programming which eschews "production values", well if the companies pay peanuts, what do you expect? Star Wars on a shoestring budget?
