All I can say Marino is keep going, anyone who says humour doesnt have a place in porn is speaking as a minority I am sure. I think the homour in your films and Ben's and others is one of the reason's it has worked so well. Also one of the reasons that from an outsider's point of view it is the most copied style in porn. If what you were doing was so poor , why would it be copied?

The only American films I watch now are those that play in the theatres. I longed for British porn and then found hardcore versions of the Ben Dover series and when funds allow I'll be stocking up on other UK producers material. Nope. Porn is porn, the only thing that matters is the quality of the girl and the enthusiasm she brings to the scene...as well as how the guy gives it good to her to get the desired reaction too. Neil. Ben Dover isn't copied and nor was he the first to pick up a camera and film himself having sex. I doubt Ben even consciously thought about copying Buttman. Lets not trivialise this. TV and movies and music are copying also.

Just like a lot of armchair critics who mud sling from their armchairs, everyone thinks they can make a movie better than the next person. So you bought a crap porn tape? So what. You could go to a restaurant and have a shit meal, its all relative. You could go out take pot luck on a movie and its dull as hell.
