The people at Private who made that show have all left a long time ago. They were not really porn people but TV people. No matter how hard they try, TV people can't understand porn, or portray it properly.

Nevertheless, the actual film that was made during the shooting of the reality show has been released - it's called Amsterdam Sex Games.

You'll find Donna Ibbotson performing "digitally" and enthusiastically in broad daylight on the balcony of my friend Andres, on Raadhuisstraat, and Karina Clarke gets herself on the box-cover, as well as fucking Brad in the orgy scene.

Plus the unmissably gutsy showing (with Karina) of Stuart, the blushing Englishman who is probably porn's answer to TV's Jon Ronson and Louis Theroux.

Brad's hopes of a career have not paid off. The so-called contract from Private had given him nothing, last time I heard. He got married a few months ago.

Stuart last wrote to me from the UK, and sent me chapter one of the diary he made during that time (it begins "Bless me father, for I have sinned").

I never saw the TV series, and can only imagine how awful it was. The whole idea came from that period when Private had a brash American CEO and was trying to do absolutely everything.

A lot of the Private stuff is shown uncut on the Dutch satellite channel Spice Platinum - it's still shite.
