My partner (listed on these 'ere pages) recently gave birth to our second baby boy. She was sexy & attractive to me because she was the epitomy of womanhood. It was just another step from most men's apprecition of womanhood with say, long hair, big boobs, long slender legs etc. It's about women being feimine. HOWEVER, I consider pregnant women to be just that... something that their partners find attractive. So for anyone to be purveying h/c porn of heavily pregnant women smacks of extreme & unneccessary perversion and desperation to 'do something different'. There is some much talk about all these 'niche' markets that I (like many here) am despairing. Where are the well made films featuring horny & attractive women (& men) doing the deed in believable well directed scenes? I've had enough 'shock' value to last a lifetime. Please can we all calm down & stop pushing barriers & concentrate on quality porn?

Yes the term "Fetish" is overused and often misapplied, but it is one which is typed into search engines constantly, so it is here to stay.

I used to have a section on a site devoted to "requested fetishes" and featuring the top 8 requested. Pregnant girl material was always just outside the top 8, though the requests were primarily for artistic and natural shots, and in stills format, not video.

So my answer to Hughsey would be;

if they're wanting you to shoot porn, others are doing it already on video, so there's no market for stills.

However, If they are attractive enough (and I know the girl next door is not always a pretty girl next door!) shoot classy, artistic but erotic sets and they will sell at web content rates, so you shouldn't pay over the odds for it.

I've noted some of the responses in this thread so thought I'd add my tuppence worth ...

From a physiological point of view, there is *no* risk to either the child or mother from sexual activity up to and including the end of the final trimester. Unless the mother-to-be is keen on leaping off tall wardrobes, for example, which might be considered physically harmful at the best of times ...

Morally, of course, everyone in the universe has their own opinion. Here's mine ...

I find a pregnant woman to be one of the wonders of the universe. The shape and form is something exceptional and as such I have no problems (and, indeed, am a keen advocate) of pregnant sexual activity and pornography. Your mileage may vary, and I appreciate that many consumers of pornography might not like it. But as a definitive statement of feminity, not to mention a representation of something that I could never experience, then it's hard to beat.

But then, that doesn't answer your question as to whether there's a business case in a photo shoot with a heavily pregnant female. Dunno, sorry. I'd suspect not and others have suggested a video shoot might be more viable. But hey, that's just me ...

You know I'm generally among the first to say I dislike this tendency in the industry to do extreme things as a substitute for genuine creativity and innovation. For me porn is our culture's version of erotica (skewed to an extent by the pressures of capitalist economics and patriachal culture) and at it's best is a celebration of sexuality - including womanhood (and manhood) - though at its worst it can be anti sex and misogynistic. I agree with you about double anals and the like but I still maintain that porn featuring pregnant women *can be* very beautiful and erotic. There will always be tendencies within porn to debase and degrade and I'm sure this would be the case in some porn featuring pregnant women as much as any other genre - these reflect the same tendencies that exist in society generally and they are not going to go away simply because we don't like them. But freedom of sexual expression is at the same time a liberatory force in society and I think it is very important that this includes representations of pregnant women and sex during pregnancy. As I stated above pregnant erotica has a long history precisely because it celebrates womanhood and fertility and potency - we have tended to sweep any notion of sex during pregnancy under the carpet so to speak in our culture - it's a relic of victorian and repressive values as far as I'm concerned - you can see this in these myths about *harming* the child etc too - and about it having to be private and personal. Clearly there is still a taboo here - of course in itself that explains it's fascination for some as taboos can also be exciting precisely because they are forbidden.

Whether you fancy pregnant women or not is personal taste, but sex during all satges of pregnancy doesn't seem to be dangerous.

As an Add-On to your statement, a Pregnant Woman having sex during the final Tri-Mester has actually got VALID & Useful purposes, I won't list all the stuff, but mainly the act of Sex during the last 3-5 weeks of Pregnancy helps with Child Birth (to do with the exercise the Hips & Pelvic Region gets), has proven benefits in making the Childs birthing alot easier, & in some cases, less painful/stressful.
