unzipped videos

Hi guys, I just subscribed to the latest Unzipped mag featuring the sexy Petra Morgan. But, I can't watch the videos because of, according to Unzipped, my internet security setting. I've disabled my firewall and norton auto protect, but the videos just don't open? Anyone here know how to configure the settings por whatever??

Well I'd try this:

Clear out your temporary internet files, by going on Internet Explorer to Tools, Internet Options and then delete the files and cookies and history.

Now disable your firewall but not the Norton Antivirus (which should never be disabled).

Go to the file now and hopefully it'll allow you to get to it.

I would advise keeping your firewall and Norton protection up at all times, especially if you're on broadband.

If you use MS Internet Explorer, click the 'Tools' button and select 'Internet Options'. Click the 'Security' tab and make sure its set to 'Medium'. That should enable you to get most website content. If not, experiment with lesser settings.

Well, I did all that. Then, dropped security setting to low, disabled BOTH Firewall and Norton. Will be busy with my AD-Aware scans removing a lot of crap from my PC and here's the best bit.............. I still can't open/download the friggin vids!!

Why is it u can download videos from some site and not from others, even with all your security on?? If anyone has the answer, let unzipped know so they can change their site. I've just paid 4 something I can't get.

Please Petra, model for sites where we can see your vids and why can't you do a dvd/vid softcore while we're at it? Softcore will do fine.

I used to subscribe to Unzipped and had no problem in getting their videos to run. They were in Quicktime format so you have to have Quicktime installed. Its free at apple.com.pj wrote:

All the videos are over 10 mins long and can all be downloaded to view offline.

I have QT 6 installed. It's just the face that norton and firewall affects their site but other sites aren't affected by it.
