Its funny that the reaction to my postings are kind of proving my points, Phils calling me an idiot, why, because I have concerns about personal information being swapped, with BAHIA. He already addresses you(Jason) as if you lot are in an exclusive club and the rest of us are fools. In other words, the fear I have of an unelected body like BAHIA, run by a few pals in the "porno clique", trying to impose their will on everyone on the outside, is starting to happen.

I am definitely not part of the 'inner core' of the UK porn scene, but as a newcomer I have found the BIAHA very helpful. Kitten, you may well have some valid points but from my perspective, getting a substantial discount at clinics, etc, as well as helping to raise the profile and improve the perception of British porn, I think it is a good thing. My opinion, for what it's worth.

As I understand, the Indigo Clinic is funded by the hospital and the staff are fighting tooth & nail to ensure that the clinic is kept afloat.

Ceri most likely made a comment about people not showing up for appointments and this could come to the attention of someone from up high who might decide to re-direct funds to other wards in the hospital.

I can see the meeting now with the comment "if adult industry performers can't be bothered to show up for a free clinic, why waste our money".

Can someone email / post me the details as I'm going come out of retirement to do a few bits and pieces for model friends..

Well said kitten, I thoroughly endorse your comments. when this idea was first muted i had the suspicion that it would lead to an exclusive club with the aim of excluding new entrants. Well in my case they have succeeded, I set up a site. Compared to the big glossy efforts of the big guys it was cheap amatuer crap but it proved popular. I'm now unable to afford to update, because models who would be happy to work with a 3 month std cert costing about ?150 inc fares to London are now insisting on 1 month hiv/std tests at a cost of about ?250 a month. I know it's in everybodys interest but it's a luxury I for one cannott afford! so another competitor bite the dust!!!!! hooray I hear

You are not getting in and thats the end of it, we had a meeting and you were blackballed, in fact you never got a white one. Now I heard there is a water shortage in Gambia which requires someone who knows nothing about anything to solve, me I am off to use another one of my new Trojan condoms on a porn stars ass.
The reason it is a exclusive club has nothing to do with group it has to do with the very poor state of the british male wannabee actors. There is about 8 guys any good in UK, Gonzo made it easy to shoot porn but it never made performing that much easier.
BAHIA makes recomendations to anyone who wants to listen thats all. A full STD/HIV test is FREE. You only need to sort your appointments out and go. Seymour the 30 day test for STD's is common sense believe me, you should be as a professional encouraging the actor/actresses to do that simply to take advantage of them and their need for a few bucks is not the answer. Sometimes you just need to climb above all that and lead rather than follow.

Where is it free for a FULL HIV & STI Test, Indigo Clinic?

As far as I know, that's London only, if any1 knows of any other Clinics like this, where you don't have to pay ?250.00 or more, is gratefully accepted.

Lots of NHS places will do the whole set of tests for free.

The problem is that they might not provide a certificate (so make sure they know you need one and that they will give you one) and if they do provide a cert, expect to pay maybe 30-50 quid for it.

The other problem is that they have big delays to get appointments.

But why should other peoples taxes pay for our tests anyway?

Anyone who genuinely wants help arranging a test or wants to find a test centre, All they have to do is ask, anyone who wants to complain before they ask should think first, and anyone who wants to post a whole load of bollocks just to look stupid, fine gives us a laugh.
It really is not that hard to get a test done anywhere in the UK, if you intent to make a career as a stud or a starlet then paying for it whether its a full PCDNA or a NHS std/hiv should not be a problem. If you feel some of the top stars only want to work with professionals who like themselves do a full test every month then thats how you are ment to feel, go back to being a genuine punter who used to buy programs from us not try to make your own. I have a great respect for this forum and its posters. They used to be punters asking great questions about the "lost Charmaine blowjob scene" as an example now it seems to be full of whingers.

Like I always say you want to know how to fix your telly as a TV repairman or go strait ahead and get the back off its probably just a loose wire.
