I think part of the problem may be some of the girls actually disliking what they do. One girl I know is very popular because se can smile like an angel while she's working and act as dirty as she thinks a photographer want's her to be, but it's all to get more work. After a shoot she's aloof and disgusted, and thinks all the people who want to see this are sad, but when someone's waving money at her, or talking about re-bookings, she loves doing the work! She'll even ring photographers telling them how dirty she will be if they book her again, yet the amount of times she turns up for work "on a period, so can only use small toys" is a medical marvel! And all the photographers fall for it.
And another who hates hardcore work, just doing it for the money, saying how much she loves it and how proud of herself she is. I found this quite surprising until I discovered that, yes, you guessed it, it's manager/boyfriend posting on her behalf to get her more work, and she doesn't have a clue what "she's" said when you ask her about it.
There is a world of difference when you work with a girl who enjoys it, who would do the work for free in her spare time for pleasure. They're the ones who don't let you down because they don't wake up in the morning hating what they're doing. And there's also a world of difference when you find a girl who deals with her own e-mails, because they ARE rare!

Its easy to see the girls who can't be relied upon, they simply don't last long in this industry!
I've been modelling/acting for just over 2 years and quickly learnt that repeat bookings only happen when you are reliable and work hard. Especially with so many jumping on the bandwagon of "lets make lots of cash, I know, I'll open my legs" the work is getting harder and harder to find but many girls give it a try, their boyfriends (managers!) decide they're not so keen on it all and soon the girls disappear. Its easy to get bookings at first as new face is worth its weight in gold to some people, the skill is getting work once you have been seen more than a few times!
A piece of advice to any girls reading this; if you want to stay working in the porn industry for more than a few months, stay reliable, professional at all times and work hard but love what you do!!!
