I have noticed that I seem to get allot of work even when it is fairly quite and I asked why I got so much work and was told by an agency that hires me. That it is because people are starting to hear about the fact that I am never Late, Do not cancel, I even turn up when I am not up to it as feeling ill, but I put a smile on and do the work 110 %. I wish that only every model was Like this as it is a job and if it was any other job (say a normal 9-5) we would be sacked for not turning up or always being late.
If models are to be professional then shouldn't they treat it like a job and Bother to turn up whether their ill or there not sure how to get their and all the other "I am really sorry but I am going to have to cancel because ............. " ( You know the excuses Im talking about) .
Their has also been a thread going around regarding certain models who work in gangbang and bukkake scene. As a professional model I ensure certain safety measures are met those being The guys are always wearing condoms, I never work if I have any cuts or any other type of open wound. I would hope that all models in this scene do this as it is what I class as being a professional model to take those safety measures.
As I like what i do and wish to carry on doing so. I make sure I am clean and safe to work with amateurs with condoms or with professionals with HIV certs renewed every 30days.

"Amateurs" with comdoms...
By "amateur" I assume you mean someone without a HIV/STI certificate?
If this is the case, then can I ask what steps would be taken if the condom "failed"?
Would you withdraw from the industry for 3 months?
It is simply a question - because there seems to be an almighty fuss being created about a 30-day window of safety - 90 days all of a sudden being considered "unsafe", yet people are prepared to run the risk of performing with any number of untested males providing a less than 100% reliable barrier - a condom - is used.
Something doesn't seem to add up. It's a subjective opinion, but I personally think relying on a condom with an unknown partner is more of a risk than a known model with a certificate 89 days old!

Hi JackHorny,
Yes I would retire for 3 months if a condoms was to break. As I am a professional model and not only do I have to think of my self but also for those that work in the industry. I would also expect others in the industry to do the same if this was to happen with them. I am however Very lucky to be able to say that this has not yet happened to me. And hope that this stays the same.

Hi Kerry,
I too hope it never happens for you, and, like you, I'd also like to think that others involved would share your integrity and withdraw should such an unfortunate incident happen...
But - my point is this.. if we are all so ultra professional with the highest standards of integrity and respect for each other - why do we need to bring in a 30-day rule when the 90-day standard has - to my knowledge - worked perfectly well so far?
Particularly when we are all well aware of the difficulties surrounding getting a cert every 3 months (unless you live in or around London).

Hi JackHorny,
Ok I Understand your point but I also think that getting it done every month is also being professtional esp if you wish to work with us models. But i think that it is a very good idea to have this done. However if we make it every 30 days we need to think that thier are some models esp new ones that can not afford to get it done every 30 days so would this mean that photograpghers and producers pay for us to get this done???? Or would they only work with thoses that already do it??????
I feel so strongly about this that I make sure my partner gets his tests done evern though he does not really model much.

Kerry - you may recall that we have actually worked together - my first shoot and possibly your first shoot aswell?
Anyway - now I've reminded you who I am - let me just say that I'm not AGAINST 30 day certs - not at all... My problem with the issue is that we don't have a medical infrastructure capable of catering for it.
Now if there WAS a problem with 90-day certs (i.e. we were/are experiencing infection problems) then I could understand the rush to 30-day certs. But - if we're willing to accept that we're all professionals and happy to rely on each others personal integrity; if there isn't a recognised problem with the 90-day standard WHY OH WHY are we jumping the gun and applying this standard when the medical facilities cannot cater for 30 day certs...
And like I've said elsewhere - another factor to consider - given stud fees, it's gonna be totally cost prohibitive for most MALES outside of London to get 30 day certs.

Jack
I see you saying the same thing on many posts. The main reason for bringing in the 30 day test for HIV & STD, is STD. Do you understand. There is more chance of someone getting an STD than HIV, but as you go and get your STD done ever 30 days you can get your HIV done at the same time.
If you leave outside London, so what, you just have to plan as models in London have to to get a test here.
Can we stop with all this "I can't because" or "I don't live in London" there are clinics all over the place, yes some are better than others, but have you told them WHY you need the test and the certificate?
It will come in and if people can't be bothered to keep up to date, then they won't work, it's that simple.

Hi JackHorny
UMM really where when etc???????
Any how back to what we were saying.
Ok cool but i agree with you about the fact that their is not the medical factiatiles at the moment. then we should get some sorted out. Now it is the producers that wish this as well as the models now shouldn't they pay for the models to get the tests done???? or set-up an organisation that is uk based all over the uk Just like the usa????
However lets not lose tests and results Like some models I know have had happen to them through aim(the USA Service). Also if we do this surely we could make it free some how Or if we pay a certain set fee Each yr for models and Producers all alike.

We dont shoot boy girl shoots ,but if a model has a cirt that is 30 days old what about the other 29 days!
I dont know how it works but I thought HIV took a lot longer than that to show up on tests

The main reason we are looking for these tests to come in is HIV & STD, with STD being the main problem. There has been no cases of HIV in the UK adult industry that I know off but many STD. So if we can reduce these, fantastic for everyone. I have seen your site and as you are shooting many G/G productions maybe you should think of coming to the meeting, plus you will learn more about the problems of STD's.
