I dunno if ne one else feels the same as me, but i am gettin so pissed off with the BBFC and the amount of stuff they are able to get their hands on and censor. I mean why do they need to do it so much. For instance the adult film industdry, when most ppl go out to buy or over the internet to buy adult dvd/vhs movies nine times out of ten the movie has been censored so much that all you manage to get out of the movie is more of a tame erotic drama rather than the "hardcore" content that you originally bought the damn thing for in the first place.

My feeling is that if some one goes out and buys a pornographic movie they expect to see everything, that includes penetration (at the least), full masturbation not just some tame rubbing. For some reason they manage to get away withit on manga animations as well, you have to give the japanese their dues they do attempt to get around this by always including some hideous plot of world domination by monsters and therefor they use monsters tentacales to penetrate the girls. But still its not the same as a guy is it?!

I bet if i went on say and ordered a ligitimate hardcore film say that has the world famous Jenna Jameson in and a variety of other pornstars as well and Play.com do sell them i bet they would have been censored by the god damn BBFC.

I dunno wot to do ne more they get at everything and its making me loose all faith in being able to buy quality stuff in the UK and on UK based sites.

I think the BBFC 18R is pretty much in line with XXX world wide or did I miss something. Appart from a few cuts which I feel were justified I can complain, Like Terry I feel its better to have a certificate to sell legally and sleep at night,

R18 is R18 some films will have a few seconds cut out of them, some minutes, and some none what so ever.

However why not buy non R18 stuff from European websites. These will include the few seconds that have been removed, and they are perfectly legal to own for your own personal pleasure.

I am a firm believer that British Product should be made more available. British producers should be pushing their product harder, getting their name and the names of the fantastic British Girls better known.

There're two ways of viewing it- first, 'great, they 'let' us see h/c porn (within limits) legally (within limits), gee, we're grown up (within limits). wow....'.
Or second, 'they have absolutely no business even attempting to censor what adults can watch- who are they to stand in moral judgment over the rest of us'?

Don't get too down hearted. I think the long term out look is good. Old fashioned censorship is declining and even the BBFC are slowly becoming more liberal. In the next 5-10 years the Internet will choke the BBFC. It's likely that this year we should also see hardcore on UK subscription TV via Sky. Check out .

Keep your eyes open for developments in this area especialy within the next week or two.

Me to only problem is I do invest heavly and if the whole BBFC thing is about watching Max get one girl to drink another ones spew out of a thirds ass the please censor me more.
I am one of a few who can live with the censorship because it is much in line with my own thinking so I could live without it, but not many can,
The difference is in ideals and principals. the BBFC have never cut anything of mine I did not agree with, so why fix what aint broke, unless the Max thing is your bag.
