Funny thing is Tony I agree with you. I think the male performers should be paid more money. But on the other hand IF I did pay more money would I get a better scene? If the male performer puts in a crap performance and I've got a rubbish scene do I get a discount or should the 'highly paid' male performer pay ALL my costs for the shoot HE fucked up! I don't think so!
And before you tell me that top male performers don't fuck up scenes, just remember I've worked with them all, with the exception of you that is. And they have all had 'off' days which have cost ME money.
So in the ideal world the male performers get top money and the producers get perfect scenes everytime. Shame we don't live a perfect world isn't it?

Say, 1% per degree, i.e a 90-degree stiffy would earn a bonus of 90%.....

As for payment, I agree with John and I'm sure that nearly all others would agree that the male role is the most difficult in a physical sense and if a disaster occurs, where is the recourse?
