Porn & profitability

I was just wondering is there any profitability in the porn business?

I was thinking along the lines of maybe setting up a website and sell amateur/home made porn?

It maybe small scale, but if it generates respectable and appropriate revenue, isn't that more than satisfactory?

Or, is there a gap in the market that could be exploited?

Websites on the net have reached saturation point IMHO-just like Porn Films.Standing out from the rest is the biggest problem

You only need look at the likes of review site to see how most categories or fetishes have been covered again & again.
The 1511 reviews so far are just the tip of the iceberg

No, in a word. Unless you've got money behind you or a backer forget it. You have to be able to live while you wait for these arsehole magazines and distributors to pay you.

Depends what you mean by Porn & Profitability, it's fairly easy to make a profit from porn, but it's hard to make enough for it to be your sole source of income.

Traffic is the key, realistically you need to be getting about 20,000 unique visitors a day or more before you could start to forget about doing your day job.

It's mostly work for me .... yes lots of hard work and hours in front of the computer but i have no regrets and it's providing a decent income.

I will admit it is a niche site and at the moment this is what punters seem to want

So i'm happy.
