alt.binaries.nospam.britbabes - advice needed

For some time I've been accessing alt.binaries.nospam.britbabes via the GlobalNews Thumbs site here: , having signed up for the free access 50 pics per day option.

I noticed that as new stuff is added earlier items are removed, which is fine - I just made sure I downloaded the earliest pics first. (Although I also noticed that not everything that's posted on the main site is made available on the 'Thumbs' site, for some unknown reason. For instance, only a selection of the recent Kellemarie b/g pics made it to the 'Thumbs' site.)

Tonight disaster struck cos the size of the available archive has suddenly been cut by about 1500 pics and a whole shitload of stuff I wanted has disappeared.

My question is this: does this disappearing act also apply to the payed subscription options, or can I sign up for one of those and get to the pics I want?

Any help/advice/suggestions will be gratefully received.

Are you suggesting that in your opinion GlobalNews is NOT a decent news group provider? (They seem to provide all the Groups I'm interested in.)

The question I really need answered is whether or not there is a general policy of deleting older material from alt.binaries.nospam.britbabes, or is it an ever-expanding archive?

The GlobalNews Thumbs site gives nothing posted earlier than 27.06.03. Is this a normal situation for alt.binaries.nospam.britbabes or a peculiarity of GlobalNews and, if the latter, does it extend to all their service options (which would indeed make them NOT a decent service provider!), or does it just apply to the 'Thumbs' site?

I doubt if anyone can keep pics posted to news groups for ever; so it's unlikely that it's an ever-expanding archive.

I would agree, but one month seems a rather short cut-off period.

Dear Tomsk, this is not right...
Globalnews it offers 6 various ones newserver whit a very good completition & retention.
Only thumbs.globalnews.it offer only picture, but is a "separated" service.
I've signed a full service whit GlobalNews & I'm very satisfied.
