Hey Wolfie
Welcome back after a leave of absence!

Re: So what's new?
And just like that 2020 went from a shitty year to...pretty much the same, but with the return of a legend ;) . The porn gods are smiling upon us! If you asked me in late March if I wanted to be in lockdown for several months, I'd be all hell no. If you'd asked me that same question but said this ...

Re: Alicia
Yup, it's very much a problem. And it certainly looks relatively more so in Scotland given the stats you quote above. So I can only guess how much worse it could otherwise be without funded personal care etc. I guess that's why the Scottish Government's Health and Social Care Integration is such a ...

Re: Number 6
All interesting stats/info, thanks. It's a complex situation. And I'm sure all politicians are keen to interpret the grey areas for their own interests. An initial thought: - Scotland has relatively generous free personal care for the elderly arrangements. This costs some ?0.5 billion per annum (and ...

Arginald,
Xenophobia aside, Scotland will be delighted that you actively endorse that it's "their oil" billions.

Re: Alicia
The Scottish figure above isn't over 1%, but rather a fraction of 1%. Plus, for 2010 like-for-like, in Scotland it was just over 0.1% compared to over 5% (per the UK Govt stats) in England. Proportionally, 50 times more. But I'll readily admit statistics are often just a useful indicator, can lack ...

Re: Alicia
Sorry, my sentence above isn't sufficiently clear: "I am not aware of the equivalent in England or Wales etc (but am happy to stand corrected)"
I do know the 18 week RTT target in England, but not of any equivalent 12 week target. (And I remain happy to stand corrected).

Re: Just for you, Argie
I hope you get the footage you crave, Arginald. On a side note, has anyone noticed that Good Morning Britain was launched as a serious alternative to BBC News, but has very quickly reverted back towards GMTV v2? Of course, that's irrelevant if your focus is getting up in the morning (and that's fair ...
