Re: Starbucks

No doubt Starbucks top dogs were familiar with the bloke in this vid - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3w4tcIsaInE&feature=youtu.be Amazon, Boots, Starbucks, Arcadia Group, eBay.... Our government needs to tax these companies properly as we're effectively just robbing ourselves when we hand over our ...

Re: A Rare No To The USA

Some good news today - what harm did he actually do? Wasn't he just looking for proof of aliens, or something? Happy for him and his family.

Re: A temporary diversion?

Savile is a dark shadow over post-war 20th century Britain. Hopefully any subsequent enquiries will not just stop with the NHS and the BBC. The care home in Jersey needs a full investigation as well as his links with those in power. Here's Jerry Sadowitz (banned by the BBC!) talking about him last ...

Re: Random Bloke

Max - this doc from just a few years ago is well worth a watch! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VC0DayWUY64 It's quite heartening in that Jeremy Spencer looks very well in it. Those Christian cults must've served some purpose! Spencer was in a bad place when he joined, but good to see he looks fine ...

Re: Random Bloke

I love the Peter Green era of Mac. It is really sad what happened to him, especially through the 70s and 80s. The first album's still fresh cos it's so stripped down and simple. Some of the playing on Then Play On is frightening!

Re: The Beatles

In defence of The Beatles as a live act - I bet before they started recording they were a great live band. They paid their dues in Hamburg and their Liverpool fans were said to be gutted when the records started coming out as it felt like they'd lost them. Ray Davies wrote in his autobiography on ...

Re: Television X Website?

I concur rex! I was a member of the evilangel site for a month and could download and, if clever enough, put them onto dvd for my own amusement. As a paid up member for tvx tho, I've got a limited number of films to choose from to stream (when I could log into the site that is) and there's no longer ...

Re: Television X Website?

Well, I'm currently tied into a 12 month ten pund a month contract with them and I haven't been able to log onto the site this last week for whatever reason. I'm going to email Richard Desmond direct! Joking aside - they could do a much better job. I bet they've got loads of archived stuff they ...
