Marianne who is alone at home, sees (or thinks she does) her maid Chichi playing strange games. Her friend Sarah, who's been trying 17 of them, suggests seeing a psychoanalyst.

Without Marianne knowing whether it's real life or a dream, all four analysts she encounters start "working" on her as soon as she meets them. At the same time, Chichi has an affair with the butcher's delivery boy. Marianne ends up with a female psychoanalyst who in a very affectionate way, shows her that in fact she was craving for love.
