Ballet instructor Felix (regular Billian actor with ample eyebrows) appears to be a proponent of innovative methods. Conservative student Rosie leaves in protest and Felix, with the pianist (Peter Bond), begins to apply his methods on Ellen and Sylvia. Ellen's mother arrives and, moved by her daughter's progress, she also receives some very practical instruction from the pianist. Content with the young man's method, she tells him that she'll start taking ballet lessons too.
