Baron Francesco Logia's wife dies without a son, thus depriving him of the legacy that could have eased his problems. He reads the wedding ads in the newspapers and asks Nadia, a beautiful divorced woman from Sicily, to join him. On the wedding night, she tells him about her grown-up daughter Danielle who comes on the following day. She also tells him about her incapacity to have another child. Agathuzza, the Baron's sister and wife of Féfé (former postman) with whom she plays lots of erotic games, think of a pilgrimage with Nadia to Santa Rosalia's monastery to beg for a son. In the meantime, Francesco is seduced by his step-daughter. The baron eventually gets a son and Nadia tells him about the coming of her daughter Danielle's twin sister.
