Laura, a model, girlfriend of photographer Arnaud, dies in a car crash which Arnaud survives. Arnaud retires to the country in a depression. There a young girl farm worker, Tessa, becomes fascinated by him. Patricia persuades him to do another photoshoot with models Chris and Ingrid and Tessa hangs around. Tessa's employer, Emile, abuses his female workers and is fascinated by the models. He assaults one of them, though she isn't very reluctant. Tessa sees this and mistakenly accuses Arnaud of the crime. All is revealed, however, and eventually Tessa lifts Arnaud out of his depression.
